The Children's Guard love, protect, respect and give the place Mary deserves in their lives and in the Church. At the same time they help others to know, love and respect Mary. The Children's Guard have a great honor to guard the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially with the purity of their children's hearts. The eyes of Our Blessed Mother is delighted seeing the small children guarding her. The Patrons are St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist, the Infant Jesus and St. Michael. St. Joseph, St. John the Evangelist and the Infant Jesus were the ones appointed by God to guard Our Lady. The Children's Guard will imitate the virtues of St. Joseph, St. John and the Infant Jesus also the courage of St. Michael.
The Children's Guard embodies or represents the most outstanding virtues of Mary-purity, innocence, confidence, humbleness, poverty, the eight beatitudes, etc. Those are the characteristics that will overcome the world. They confuse the pride, the power, the flesh, etc. The world is led by pride, pleasure, power, money, etc. They are the rulers of the world. The True Church is led by the Holy Spirit, who use the small ones, the poor and the humble to bring his massage. Let us remember that Our Lady uses the children to bring her massage, such as at Lourdes and Fatima.
